Best Kept War Memorial competition 2026

Cove & Kilgreggan have their War Memorial entered into this year’s competition, and with the assistance of the local community - including Jonathan Ward cutting grass, Alan Hier AMH Services (local gardener), 1st Peninsula Explorers based in Kilcreggan, members of the local community, and members of our local branch of the RBLS the War Memorial is really making good progress in its transformation. The Community Council and the Legion are donating money to the project.

Another sucessful Fish & Chip supper night - along with a great quiz from Roger C, and really well supported raffle - a big thank you to all who took part.

A fantastic turn out of Veterans and Youth Organisations  - & first time in a long time we had the RAF Cadets (ATC) from 1777 Squadron.

Quiz winners were the SSAFA team who won the Spike Trophy -  Thank you to Dean King for the Quiz, very entertaining!
